Susan James

Susan James has been an expat since 2016, when she left her home near Toronto, Canada, to move to Abu Dhabi, UAE, to help her son’s family welcome their newborn daughter. This move marked the beginning of a new chapter in her lifelong quest to explore the world.

Travel has always been a central part of Susan’s life. Inspired by her parents’ love for travel, she started her own adventures as a teenager. While her family enjoyed discovering Canada and the USA, Susan felt drawn to experience life beyond familiar borders—learning about new cultures, sampling diverse cuisines, and building meaningful connections with people from around the globe. In 2019, Susan and her family relocated from Abu Dhabi to Panama City, Panama, where she now resides full-time.

With extensive experience in the immigration field, Susan finds genuine fulfillment in helping others achieve their dreams of building an international life. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families as they navigate the opportunities and challenges of living abroad.
